12 Things You'll Never Get Tired Of... Like EVER!

time·less ˈtīmləs/ adjective

  1. not affected by the passage of time or changes in fashion.

So I'm sure many of you have heard of "timeless design" + if you haven't it's pretty much described as design that is relevant for several generations, it outlasts trends, fashion statements + society’s infatuation with styles.  I decided to make a list of 12 things (all of which are favorites of mine) that you will never get tired of.  I guess you can call them "timeless" pieces if you will.  For your pleasure I've also included links to where you can purchase these items or find out more about them.  From the first six items on the list, my top two favorites are #2, the linen chesterfield sofa + #4, the tufted headboard.  You can never go wrong with a chesterfield sofa...period!  You can upgrade the style of your living room at any time with this sofa.  It's a versatile piece that provides a clean + sophisticated look, + to me has a masculine + feminine appeal to it.  They're luxurious, they're old fashioned, they're classic + modern, high-end or low.  The versatility of this sofa alone is a win for me.  So, who doesn't love a great headboard? I was debating between a straight back or a winged back tufted headboard + decided to go with the straight back.  Tufted headboards, especially neutral ones allow you to change room colors on a whim.  Material selection and other finishes like nail-heads add a certain flair to the tufted headboard as well.  Overall it's 'tuff love for me when it comes to headboards.

When picking two of my favorites from this next group it was a little hard, so I'm going to give you three... why? Because I can!  So, my first pick is #8, the daaamn hexagonal door knocker! Mmmm, mmm, mmm!  When I tell you that I loooove the nice touch that certain fixtures add!! *whew* This one is a sexy one, y'all.  From the shape to the finish, just like the chesterfield sofa, it too has masculine + feminine qualities to it, contributing to its timelessness + flexibility of use.  I mean look at it... come knock on my door, please!  Next up is #9, the fiddle-leaf fig tree.  When I tell you that I don't have a green thumb or anything special, I love the fact that these trees are reasonably low-maintenance.  When selecting a spot for the tree, fiddle-leaf figs like it bright, but require indirect sunlight... perfect!  Also these trees don't require a crazy watering regimen either.  Boom!  Do be sure to place the tree in a large planter container to allow the roots some room to grow, however.  A nice touch is a large handwoven basket like the one pictured from Pottery Barn.  My last fave from this group is #12.  I am a comfy queen + enjoy cuddling under something really soft + snugly that gives me that "no worries in the world"- type of feeling.  Yes, I'm talking about a throw blanket, + not just any throw, but a lambswool one.  Oh... my... gah!  Talk about sooooft!  The larger the blanket the better!  Some may opt for a little smaller of a throw, but this particular one comes up to 57" x 72".  Wrap yoself, fool for ultimate comfort!

Feel free to poke around at the other items in the list.  I have so many more, but figured I would start here.   Stay tuned for another list of 12 more things that you'll never get tired of.  Do you own any of these pieces on the list?  What are some of your favorites? I'd love to hear from you!
