Project Brief: Our design intent was to transform a blank-slate new construction home into a Sophisticated, Elegant, and Relaxing environment, styled after a luxury hotel lobby. The aesthetic, defined as Artful Elegance, was achieved by utilizing bold accent colors (blues and golds) against neutral walls, prioritizing comfortable furnishings, and integrating unique, non-generic pieces of art. A bold and vibrant art curation was central to add character. Functional updates included custom valances throughout to maximize natural light and views, and incorporating solutions for display and storage in the Great Room. The design successfully integrated the clients’ existing furniture, with a few new pieces, to achieve a tailored, high-end finish.
